Section 1.1: The Universal Dream of Entrepreneurship

Many people aspire to become entrepreneurs, as it represents the culmination of passion and the desire to share that passion with others. The notion of being employed by someone else for a lifetime is unappealing to most; if one finds themselves in such a situation, it is often due to an environment that stifles ambition.

In today's educational systems, we are conditioned to conform in various aspects—our behavior, speech, and appearance—leading to the belief that success is only achievable through traditional employment. However, what if the goal is not to "find" a job but rather to "create" one? This perspective is seldom discussed.

Various factors, such as financial limitations, fear, negative influences, or an unsupportive environment, frequently hinder individuals from starting their own businesses. Like many others, I exist in a society where judgment is prevalent, where high taxes loom, and where societal expectations push us toward conventional careers like medicine or law. Saving money feels nearly impossible when your job offers little compensation.

At the age of 23, I find myself juggling three part-time jobs, driving an old car from the late '90s, and holding a mere 600€ in my bank account. If I were to adopt the mindset of those around me, I might feel utterly defeated, as I possess none of my aspirations. I chose a path that diverges from the conventional educational model, and while I have yet to discover my true calling, I firmly believe that I will.

The pressing question isn't whether or when I will find my way; I am confident that it will happen. The real inquiry is how. Opportunities in life are fleeting, and it is my duty to be prepared for them.

Section 1.2: Embracing Uncertainty

You might wonder, "Prepared for what?" The answer is anything. Life is in constant flux, and so am I; the future is unpredictable. The greatest error one can make is to lose their sense of curiosity and openness, as doing so would forfeit countless potential opportunities.

Currently, if an enticing offer comes my way, I am in a position to leave my three jobs without seeking anyone's permission. While my youth and lack of commitments, such as family or marriage, afford me this freedom, I recognize that failing to seize this moment would be a missed opportunity.

The challenge lies in remaining steadfast in my ambitions and not allowing external influences to deter me. If you are driven and have a vision, remember that the opinions of others hold no weight. It is your life, your aspirations, and your dreams that matter. Losing sight of these elements would mean losing one's identity.
